Join our team: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Steuben County, New York. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently You will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers.
