Gas installation technician wanted in Transylvania County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Transylvania County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
