Urgent requirement: elevator service technician (Iowa)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Poweshiek County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake You should have: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Full-time, day shift.
