Wood machinist — Mingo County

Join our team: we are hiring a wood machinist in Mingo County, West Virginia. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. Day-to-day duties: • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience 3+ years on the tools preferred.
