Offshore rigger wanted in Monmouth County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Your main tasks: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams 3+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
