Furniture maker • Woodbury County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furniture maker in Woodbury County, Iowa. The job is on a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions You should have: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
