Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar installer in Suru, Kebbi State. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Day-to-day duties: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules 4+ years on the tools preferred.
