Fabricator-welder — Chautauqua County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Chautauqua County, Kansas. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test The role involves: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
