Now hiring: we are hiring a window glazier in Massac County, Illinois. You will be based on a window-and-door production line. Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop On a typical shift you will fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
