Tailor machinist wanted in Houghton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Houghton County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams On the job you will handle: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
