Milling machine operator • Allegany County, New York

Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Allegany County, New York. The job is in a die and mould making unit. Day-to-day duties: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
