Great opportunity: we are hiring a roofer in Ulster County, New York. The job is at a roofing and cladding contractor. You should have: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate You will strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; insulate and ventilate the roof void.
