Pastry baker — Harlan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a pastry baker in Harlan County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls. You should have: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks 3+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts.
