Immediate opening: bench joiner (Scotland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bench joiner in Glasgow City, Scotland. Requirements: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings On the job you will handle: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £1,750 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
