Join our team: stainless steel welder (Maine)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Knox County, Maine. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day to day you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
