Confectioner — Norton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a confectioner in Norton County, Kansas. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. You will shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; score the top of loaves before baking; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Basic cake decorating and piping skills A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off.
