Chiller technician — City of Salem

Vacancy available: we are hiring a chiller technician in City of Salem, Virginia. You will work at a busy refrigeration workshop. On the job you will handle: • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits.
