Join our team: sand plant operator (Nebraska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Dakota County, Nebraska. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
