Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in Kingsbury County, South Dakota. You will be based on a high-rise building project. Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations On a typical shift you will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry.
