Vacancy available: finishing presser (West Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing presser in Tyler County, West Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching.
