Now hiring: we are hiring a marble fitter in Monroe County, Illinois. The job is at a marble and granite workshop. You will fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys; level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site. Ideal candidate: • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding Six days a week, one day off.
