Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Garfield County, Montana. You will be based on the moulding line. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection The role involves check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
