What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances You will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose.
