Steel fixer wanted in Hays County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Hays County, Texas. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors.
