Plastering hand — Rappahannock County

Now hiring: we are hiring a plastering hand in Rappahannock County, Virginia. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. Your main tasks: • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
