Immediate opening: we are hiring a steam press operator in Somerset County, Maryland. The role involves: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Part-time with flexible hours.
