Urgent requirement: steel fixer (Alaska)

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Nome Census Area, Alaska. The role involves read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites 1+ years on the tools preferred.
