Join our team: we are hiring a counter butcher in Conejos County, Colorado. The role involves trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
