Gas installation technician wanted in Appomattox County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Appomattox County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing On a typical shift you will install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser.
