We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel welder in City of Staunton, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently You will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence.
