Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble fitter in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings You should have: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
