Your main tasks: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Full-time with occasional weekends.
