Steel erection rigger — Mubi South

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Mubi South, Adamawa State. Day to day you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; read lift plans and method statements before starting; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
