Cnc production machinist — Iowa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Iowa County, Wisconsin. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
