Great opportunity: we are hiring a confectioner in Walworth County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Your main tasks: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Score the top of loaves before baking • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
