Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC technician in Edwards County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Presentable and polite with customers on site Day-to-day duties: • Clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks Full-time with occasional weekends.
