Vacancy available: we are hiring a membrane applicator in Herkimer County, New York. The job is at an industrial plant. On the job you will handle: • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Working-at-height certificate an advantage We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits.
