Requirements: • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance The role involves: • Replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters • Bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear • Road-test vehicles to confirm the repair • Carry out suspension and steering repairs • Replace alternators, starter motors and batteries • Read fault codes and clear them after the repair Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
