Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe lagger in City of Petersburg, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges On the job you will handle: • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
