Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Placer County, California. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Day to day you will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing.
