Blocklayer • Dona Ana County, New Mexico

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a blocklayer in Dona Ana County, New Mexico. Day-to-day duties: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
