Ironing operator — Livingston Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a dry cleaner's. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work The role involves sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments.
