We are recruiting: horizontal milling machine operator (Tennessee)

Now hiring: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Hickman County, Tennessee. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. On a typical shift you will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance. Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
