Vacancy available: restoration bricklayer (Mississippi)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Montgomery County, Mississippi. The job is on a new-build development. You will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 2+ years on the tools preferred.
