Immediate opening: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Franklin County, Maine. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings On the job you will handle: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Give each garment a final press before packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots 1+ years on the tools preferred.
