Cnc turning machinist • Sunderland, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Sunderland, England. The job is at a busy machine shop. The role involves read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; write and edit G-code programs at the control; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); load and index turning tools in the turret; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers. Ideal candidate: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer £3,050 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
