Immediate opening: glass and glazing technician (Michigan)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Hillsdale County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy glazing workshop. You will fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts. What we are looking for: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Able to cut glass accurately to size Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
