Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Monroe County, New York. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams The role involves select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
