Now hiring: we are hiring a cold room technician in Keya Paha County, Nebraska. You will work in a commercial cold storage facility. Ideal candidate: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold The role involves pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter.
