Stainless steel welder wanted in Kittitas County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Kittitas County, Washington. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
